Transferring a Call Directly to a User’s Voicemail

When speaking on any device, you can transfer a call directly to another user’s voicemail.

NimbusPhone Mobile App

Perform the following steps when you’re on the call:

  1. Press the Transfer key.
  2. Dial ** + the extension number of the person you are transferring to.
    (Ex. To transfer to extension 301’s mailbox, you would dial **301)
  3. Press green phone icon to initiate the call.
  4. The call will be immediately transferred to that extension’s mailbox.

Web Phone

Perform the following steps when you’re on the call:

  1. Click the Transfer icon (left and right arrows).
  2. Type ** + the extension number of the person you are transferring to.
    (Ex. To transfer to extension 301’s mailbox, you would dial **301)
  3. Click the blue arrow icon to initiate the transfer.
  4. The call will be immediately transferred to that extension’s mailbox.

Desk Phone

Perform the following steps when you’re on the call:

  1. Press the Transfer button.
  2. Type ** + the extension number of the person you are transferring to.
    (Ex. To transfer to extension 301’s mailbox, you would dial **301)
  3. Press the Transfer button again.
  4. The call will be immediately transferred to that extension’s mailbox.
