Creating a Contact (Address Book)

Creating a contact is easy, and can makes sending faxes even quicker, especially to people or businesses you fax on a frequent basis

Creating an Individual Contact

1. Log into your account at mytelfax.mytelpros.com.

2. Click Contacts on the left sidebar.

3. Click the Create button.

4. Choose whether your contact is a Person or an Organization.
Person – An individual fax contact.
Organization – A business with multiple fax contacts. When you create an organization, you can then assign multiple individual fax contacts to it.

5. Fill out the appropriate form fields including name, email, fax and, phone numbers.

Importing Multiple Fax Contacts

Contacts can also be created/uploaded in bulk via CSV file.

1. Click the Import button.

Contacts must be loaded in a CSV file with the following column names:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Fax

A sample CSV file can be downloaded from the Import page.

Adding a Contact to an Organization

When you create a contact, you can choose whether it is a Person or an Organization.

1. Once you have created an Organization contact, create a new Person contact.

2. Click the Select Organization button.

3. Choose the desired Organization from the list.

4. Individual person contacts are nested below the organization for easy access. Click the arrow button next to an organization contact to reveal the people associated with it.

A search box is also provided on the page.
