SIP Trunks
What makes SIP trunks so affordable?
To answer this question, first let’s discuss traditional, copper telephone lines. Up until recent years, a phone call required a physical connection between two points to complete a call. This meant running copper wires into your building and connecting it to your phone system. This aging infrastructure of physical copper lines is getting more and more expensive to maintain, which is why traditional phone lines are so costly.
SIP trunks, on the other hand, use the internet to make calls. When you make a phone call over a SIP trunk, your audio is converted into a digital packet and sent to its destination in the form of a VoIP (Voice over IP) call. This is why businesses who already have a strong internet connection are prime candidates for SIP trunks. By using the ifrastructure you already have in place, you can eliminate your expensive copper telephone lines, and reduce your communication costs dramatically.

eFax

Yes. My Tel Pros eFax is HIPAA compliant, meaning we cater specifically to the protected health information of patients.
Is My Tel Pros eFax safe for other types of sensitive documents?
Yes. Whether in healthcare, finance, or any other field, using a secure faxing method that encrypts data and creates audit trails for following possible breaches is a good idea. Even credit card information that a small business may need to fax is still sensitive enough to warrant the extra security offered by My Tel Pros’ encryption. HIPAA compliance shows a high level of traceability, security, and privacy for any documents sent.
Is email to fax included?
Yes, email to fax is included in your eFax subscription. An eFax subscription includes 1 user with 1 email address.
Can multiple people in my company use email to fax?
An eFax subscription includes 1 user with 1 email address. Anyone who has access to that email address can send and receive faxes through email. If your company utilizes a global or shared email address, such as info@yourcompany.com, then anyone who has access to that email address can use fax to email.
If you need the ability for more than 1 email address to use email to fax, please contact your local reseller agent, or contact us at (984) 201-2000 for options.
